I'm 16 and I have my CanSail level 1&2 from cadets. I was really hoping to find a place where me and a friend could rent a 420 sailboat for a day.

I am interested in sailing small laser boats and katamarans in montreal but I do not sail regularly so it would have to be a rental.

Answer:
Try Ecole de Voile de Lachine for a half day rental.

If you want to sail regularly, a junior membership at Beaconsfield Yacht Club is inexpensive and allows you to take out the Flying Juniors they use for daycamps as much as you want, for the whole summer. Boats are free for members anytime except Monday to Friday 8AM-4PM for 8 weeks in the middle of summer.
